This year 11,000 people attended the 5th Annual Salsa Festival at the newly expanded Pacana Park. Crowds gathered around the new Orbitel O-Zone for a chance to win a HD TV and baseball tickets to the Diamondbacks. Many people went to the festival to enjoy and vote for the best salsa from 55 different contestants, let their kids play in the Kids Zone, and shop the Maricopa Zone.
“Orbitel would like to thank everyone that visited the O-Zone this year, it was a pleasure to see all the smiling faces”, Keith Kirkman, President and CEO, said. “These events are great for Orbitel to come out and give back to the community and simply have fun.”
The O-Zone sweepstakes included gifts from MLB Network, FS Arizona en Espanol, Style, Food Network, and the Golf Channel. Orbitel had a Prize Wheel that made everyone a winner. The Grand Prize was a 42” High Definition TV, two 2nd Place winners won 5 Luxury Suite tickets to the Dbacks vs Phillies on July 29th and one 3rd Place winner won 4 Club Level tickets to Dbacks vs Nationals on May 8th, 2009, both at Chase Field. The Grand Prize winner of the HD TV was Mirella Huttenlocher. Also, the Dback ticket winners included Rudy Garcia, Ryan Pick and Windy Sanfilippo.
“I thought I won the TV when you called! The baseball tickets will work, thank you” said Rudy Garcia, the winner of 5 Luxury Suite tickets to the DBacks vs Phillies on July 29th.
