Tuesday October 21, 2008  Maricopa, Arizona:  KAET Eight has had a malfunction at their digital transmitter which has affected Channels 906 and 908.  Orbitel customers are still able to access regular KAET programming which is located on Channel 8, however the outage affects Channels KAET and KAET HD which are currently off the air and there is no word yet on how long the extended outage will last.  Engineers at KAET have informed Orbitel Communications that they are working diligently to identify the problem and get both Channels back up on the air.  As part of our dedication to communicate pertinent information to our customers, Orbitel will send out a notification as soon as the issue is identified and resolved.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers.
