November 18, 2008   Maricopa, AZ:  Orbitel Communications has announced numerous changes to the Orbitel channel lineup for the month of December.  The first change will take place before December 9, 2008.  Channel 955 Versus/Golf HD will become two separate HD channels.  Channel 955 will become Golf HD and an additional High Definition channel will be added to the Orbitel lineup to create Versus HD channel 953.  Each channel will provide 24/7 sports viewing for golf and high powered sports lovers.  Orbitel customers will be notified as soon as the exact date of the HD channel expansion is scheduled.  The second change is scheduled for December 15, 2008.  Daystar, a Christian based network located on channel 140 will permanently go off the air.  Due to a change in the way Daystar sends out their satellite signal, Orbitel will no longer be able to air the Daystar network.  For Orbitel customers who are interested in 24/7 faith based programming, Orbitel offers Family Net, 3 Angels Broadcast Network, Brigham Young University and the Inspiration Network channels as alternate digital viewing options.  If you have any questions regarding these changes, please contact our customer service department at 520.568.8890.
