AAM (Associated Asset Management) held a HOA v. HOA food drive contest to see which community could donate the most pounds of non-perishable food during the month of July. The individual communities determined how they would engage their residents. Province residents donated almost 6 lbs per household which represented 78% of the donations. Together with the residents of Alterra, Cobblestone Farms, Maricopa Lakes, Glennwilde, Homestead North and The Villages almost 7000 lbs of food was donated to F.O.R. Maricopa, a local food bank. As the winner of the contest residents of Province won a movie in the park by Starlight Silverscreen that will be presented on a 50 foot screen.
