Maricopa, AZ September 11, 2008: Last evening Orbitel received a network monitoring alarm informing our staff that we were experiencing intermittent problems with some of our internet and phone customers. Our local technicians were immediately dispatched to our network operations center. While resolving the problem, we had a hardware failure on an internet router at our technical operations facility. Service to all internet customers was lost for a short period of time while our technicians worked as quickly as possible to bring the router back on line. Many customers returned to service immediately after the router was restored. As of 8:30pm last evening, Orbitel customers have full internet service and there has not been any further network challenges.
