It is a new emerging technology where non locally based companies provide telephone service through your high speed internet access (either DSL or cable internet service). These companies have not built the local networks to provide the trafficking of calls to and from your home. They rely upon the open network of the internet to transmit their services.

Orbitel is a local communications provider. We own and support the cable lines and network used to deliver your telephone, video and internet services to and from your home. Through our Network Operations and monitoring we have the ability to monitor and manage the reliability of our communications network. We have local personnel on call 24/7 and national support monitoring personnel to solve any problems that may arise.

In addition, the VOIP providers may not offer the same services Orbitel provides. Be careful that you compare all services offered for the price versus our services. They also can’t offer you the bundled savings of combining your video, internet and voice services together on one convenient monthly bill.
