The Orbitel Digital Phone service is connected in
your home through a Multimedia Terminal Adaptor (MTA). The MTA is
connected to your broadband cable TV internet modem. The MTA
converts the digital voice packets into signals that work through
your home telephone wiring and existing phones.
You can use all of your existing phones, phone wiring and answering
machine devices that you have in your home. The MTA will be
installed next to your broadband High Speed Internet modem.
Orbitel offers two Multimedia Terminal Adapters
for use in customers’ homes.
